Crawford and Jenean's prayer for WestCoast Church is for our heavenly Father to grant us the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the deep and intimate knowledge of Him, so that we can know and understand the hope to which He has called us, so that we can know what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His power in and for us all who believe, as was demonstrated in Christ when God raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His own right hand in heavenly places". (Ephesians 1:17-21)

Cole & Lauren Smith
Cole Smith is from Dayton, Ohio and he spent much of his teen years serving in various youth groups from his hometown with his family. It was such a joy for him to witness teens from his school coming to know the Lord at a young age through building relationships and sharing the gospel. He eventually attended Ohio State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation. After knowing Lauren his entire life, they finally tied the knot in August 2019. From then, Cole moved on down to Florida and joined Lauren in her hometown.
Lauren has grown up in WestCoast Church and has served in the youth group here since she was youth age. Through serving at WestCoast, Bible College, and YWAM in New Zealand, the Lord has really given her a heart for ministry with young people. She attended Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida and got her Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies and has been back home, working at WestCoast Church ever since. Cole and Lauren have genuinely loved watching young people come to know the Lord and discover the calling God has placed on their lives. Their prayer is that they would witness many more students come to know the great love Jesus Christ displayed when He sacrificed His life on that cross and rose again in victory.
KID'S CHURCH DIRECTORS
Bruce & Liz Whidden
Bruce and Elizabeth Whidden have been residence of the Parrish area over the last 21 years and have raised their 3 grown children in this community. They have been members of West Coast Church since 2012 and been involved with several outreach programs. The Lord has put on their hearts that they must invest in the younger generation, to teach the word of the Lord for it will provide a beautiful foundation and a true meaning of what it is to walk in the promises.
Their prayer and hope for the children's ministry at West Coast Church is to live with a focus on the Father, for each child to live with integrity, to know the truth, keep the word of the Lord, allow humility to shape them and grow them in the faith and to spread the love of Jesus to all.
Jesus said, "Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these." (Mark 10:14)
